Departures from Ilulissat. Qasigiannguit is located in the south-eastern part of the Disko Bay, approximately 3 hours by boat from Ilulissat. It is one of the oldest towns in Greenland and has around 1200 habitants. Only in Qasigiannguit do you get a chance to experience the old Thule culture, as the local museum is full of stories from the past. (read more)
